Women Who Inspire | Stacie Barber, Family Anchor

This October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Naboso is spotlighting women who embody strength, resilience, and the spirit of community.  Today, we are honored to feature Stacie Barber, Founder of The Physio Fix and Family Anchor.

A Journey That Changed Everything

One of the most defining moments of Stacie’s life came when her husband suffered a massive stroke while she was 30,000 miles away in Australia. It took 32 hours for her to reach him, during which she replayed every possible scenario of what their future might look like. Seeing him in a coma, on a ventilator, and being told he might not survive—or if he did, that he would never regain much function—changed Stacie forever.

“That season reshaped not just who I am as a person, but the way I live, love, and lead,” she reflects.

Reframing Life and Business

This experience taught Stacie that nothing is guaranteed—and that when nothing is certain, anything is possible. She carries this mindset into every patient interaction and business decision.

“I no longer accept limitations placed on people, whether it’s by doctors, circumstances, or self-doubt. My role is to see possibilities where others might only see barriers,” she says.

The Power of Consistency

Strength training has been a cornerstone for Stacie, teaching discipline, resilience, and confidence. She also leans on journaling, gratitude practices, and quality time with her husband and daughter. Being present with her family grounds her, while movement reminds her of the power of consistency and progress.

The Inspiration to Keep Going

Stacie draws inspiration from her family and the people she serves. Watching her husband fight for his life and witnessing his recovery fuels her drive to never give up on her own goals. She also finds motivation in the thousands of people who have reclaimed their health, independence, and confidence through The Physio Fix.

Lessons for Women Everywhere

Stacie wants women to remember that circumstances don’t define potential. “You can face unimaginable challenges and still write a story of strength, love, and resilience,” she says. She emphasizes that it’s okay to be vulnerable and strong at the same time—and that leaning into both can lead to incredible growth.

Creating Impact Beyond Herself

Through The Physio Fix, Stacie has built a platform that extends far beyond herself. From offering free educational classes to expanding access via telehealth, her work changes the narrative of what physical therapy, health, and resilience can look like. She has created a team that amplifies her mission, impacting entire communities with knowledge, support, and empowerment.

Advice for Women Entrepreneurs Facing Adversity

“Adversity is not the end of your story—it’s the soil where resilience is grown,” Stacie says. Her advice: take one step at a time, lean on your support system, don’t be afraid to rewrite the rules, and remember that doing the work is the shortcut. Progress may not always be linear, but it is always possible.
